How much does CCTV cost. +-

The cost of CCTV fitted to your home or business varies on the quality of cameras and recording equipment used, we stay clear of the low cost “Out of the box” cheaper kits available online, picture quality is key when installing CCTV, being able to clearly see the images and footage clearly is the idea, after all thats the whole point of having it fitted right? As a basic indication £200 plus £100 per camera required is a good rule of thumb. How Much is an emergency electrical call out? +-

An emergency electrical call out costs £75.00, this includes us sending an engineer to your property or business on the same day, within 1-2hours if required and this includes the first 1 hour of fault finding. Subsequent hours are then charged at £45.00p/hr although the majority of the time faults are repaired or found within the first hour.

How much will it cost to rewire my home? +-

The price of the rewire depends on a number of factors, such as: whether the house is occupied or vacant, how many bedrooms there are, the overall size of the property, the age of the property, and what you want included like spotlights, USB sockets, LED lighting etc.

The average cost to rewire a 3 bed semi detached house is £3,200 and can take up to 10 days to complete. This can act as a handy rule of thumb, with prices typically varying by £1,000 per bedroom. Although we provide a quick turn around option where we assess the size of the job and program the works with you so that we can provide a labour intensive solution cutting the time down to a few days.

As always, prices vary depending on your requirements. Time is entirely dependent on the job: the bigger the job, the longer it will take to complete.

Included in the price of your house rewire, you can expect that previously old fittings and wiring will be removed, and also a new metal clad consumer unit installed. To comply with current regulations, all new installations are to have metal consumer units installed, due to increased fire safety measures.

Does my fuse board/fusebox need replacing? +-

That would depend. Rewirable fuses are still recognised as a means of protection, however other factors now come into play. Rcd protection to socket outlets under general usage is a key starting point, if you have not a least got this then let us come along and talk through the options.
